Roberto Ammendola received his Master’s Degree in Physics and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from “Tor Vergata” University in Rome, Italy. He is with INFN since 2003, but worked also for Centro Ricerche Enrico Fermi and “Tor Vergata” University. His main research interests are reconfigurable devices and high speed network interconnects, HPC systems and infrastructure design and deployment, high-speed parallel trigger and readout acquisition systems, integer and floating point arithmetics in-network acceleration. He collaborates with CERN and ASI.
