I am a first year PhD student and I work under the supervision of Prof. Luca Biferale.
I am specializing in the field of Statistical Mechanics with interest in turbulent and complex systems. My main research activity is focused on the study of control problems using both data-driven (Reinforcement Learning) and equation-informed (Optimal Control) approaches. In particular, since my master Thesis, I am studying systems of Lagrangian active particles navigating in complex fluids, optimizing their navigation in order to achieve specific goals.
