This year we organize two "PhD Days" in which all the students of XXXIX cycle give a short presentation of the research activity carried during their second year. 

Within this event, we also celebrate two remarkable former PhD students from University of Rome Tor Vergata, who were awarded prestigious prizes.
Dr. Alice Leoncini won the "Ettore Pancini" award for Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics from the Italian Physics Society (SIF).
Dr. Chiara Calascibetta won the SocInt-G-Research award from Italian Society for Intelligence for her PhD thesis and Euromech Young Scientist Prize for the best oral presentation at the 18th European Turbulence Conference.
